To do this, we will be making a few changes that will help us check in with our clients more consistently, while keeping you and our team members safe. Here are some of the things we are doing:
- We have ensured that there will be no disruption in our service to you. All of our employees are fully equipped to work remotely. Our IT infrastructure is backed up and secured.
- We'll be prohibiting any visitors from entering our offices until further notice. This measure protects any employees that will be onsite.
- All of our phone lines will work as you are used to. We ask you to please leave a message to ensure all calls are returned.
Thank you for your understanding as we take these precautionary steps. If you have any concerns, please reach out to your SCS Account Executive. Additionally, keep checking this page as we will continue to update it.

Updates & Resources
Regardless of the industry, they operate in, businesses of all kinds have to contend with a variety of workplace hazards—hazards that jeopardize the health and wellbeing of their employees.
Many landscaping tasks require the transportation of equipment and tools between job sites. As such, it’s important to secure these loads before transporting them to prevent safety incidents.
While most individuals are prepared to pack and unpack boxes, many forget just how many places need their updated contact information. After all, it’s not just family and friends who need to know your new address. This resource provides a list of who to notify when you move.
October is Distracted Driving Awareness Month! It’s important to remember that hazardous driving conditions are even more dangerous when distracted or unaware of how to maintain control in less than ideal circumstances.
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) published its hours-of-service (HOS) final rule, revising regulations related to driving limits for commercial motor vehicle drivers.
Since your homeowners insurance policy does not provide protection from a home invasion, home invasion insurance is a must. These policies provide protection for people-related risks, such as abductions and injuries.
On Sept. 11, 2020, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) extended yet again the emergency declaration that provides truck drivers an exemption from Parts 390 to 399 of the federal motor carrier regulations (including hours of service, vehicle inspection and driver qualification rules).
Weeks ago, businesses across the country sent workers home to help limit the spread of COVID-19. Now, America is opening back up. With the coronavirus barely under control and no vaccine in sight, employers are considering every option for keeping their workers safe while still keeping their businesses afloat. “Contact tracing” is one of those options.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, companies across the globe have been working to develop a COVID-19 vaccine. As the pandemic continues on and vaccine clinical trials progress, there may be a possibility of a COVID-19 vaccine being approved for use in the foreseeable future.
On Sept. 8, 2020, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) added 18 new answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) to its existing guidance on how employers should comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) while also observing all applicable emergency workplace safety guidelines during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The agency also updated two of the FAQs from the existing guidance.
